Documentation
Definition
Specifies the target value for the total of the input quantities.
Use
The meaning of the target input quantity and whether you can enter this quantity depends on the units in which you have entered the quantities in the Input and Output view:
- If you have entered the quantities in absolute units, the target input quantity is the sum of all input quantities. The system then forms this total automatically and displays it as the target input quantity. You cannot enter the target input quantity. When you change the quantities in the Input and Output view, the system updates the target input quantity automatically.
- If you have entered the quantities in proportional values (percentages), the target input quantity is the quantity to which the proportional values relate. You can then enter the target input quantity and the system relates the proportional values to this quantity.
Dependencies
Example
A formula contains 40% of the input component A and 60% of the input component B. With a target input quantity of 200 kg, 80 kg of A and 120 kg of B are used.
