Definition
Assigning values to a diet substance.
Use
You define the values to be assigned to diet substances in the substance when you edit the diet suitability. The values to be assigned to the output are calculated in the formula. The system also evaluates the values assigned to the input substances. If substances with different values assigned enter the output of the formula, the value for the output is determined from the value with the highest sort number.
Dependencies
The value assignments are mapped as exception values. When you edit the exception values for the value assignment type of the diet suitability, you have to enter the sort number.
Example
Output X consists of substances A, B, and C (explosion result). The following values are assigned to A, B, and C for the diet substance 'milk protein-free'.
A No
B Yes
C Unknown
In Customizing, the value assignments are specified as exception values for the diet suitability, for example, with the following sort numbers:
1= Yes
2= Unknown
3 = No
The result of this is that the value 'no' is assigned to the output of the formula.
