Documentation
Definition
Currency per unit of measure for the material price, for example, "EUR / g".
Use
In the Costs view, this field shows the currency for the material price in relation to the unit of measure that is being used.
The data is only displayed.
Dependencies
Normally the field displays the currency chosen in the Costs view as well as the unit that has been selected for the reference quantity, because the prices are converted automatically according to the currency and unit of measure selected.
Exception:
If the reference unit of measure (for example, gram) is clearly lower than the reference unit of measure of the material price (for example, kilogram), the material price in the conversion is so low that it would be displayed as 0. This is because the price field only displays two decimal places. For this reason, the reference unit of measure of the material price, in this case kilogram, is used for the conversion. The currency remains the one that was selected in the Costs view.
