Definition

Indicates that the formula is consistent.

Use

You set this indicator using the relevant pushbutton on the Quantities tab page under Control Indicators. When you start the consistency check and this check is positive, the system sets the Consistent indicator.

The consistency check for the formula is carried out by the Business Add-In (BAdI) Consistency Check for Recipe. A default implementation is supplied that performs the following checks and actions:

  • If the Reaction indicator is set in a formula, the system cannot determine the consistency of the formula automatically. You can set the formula as consistent manually. In this case, the system indicates below the pushbutton who set the Consistent indicator and when.
  • The system checks whether at least one input and output item exists and or whether the Input and Output formula view is empty.
  • If you are using the separate I/O Substances and I/O Materials views instead of the Input and Output formula view, the system checks whether the materials were generated from the substances or the substances were generated from the materials.
  • The system checks whether the calculation of the fields in the Input and Output formula view does not produce any errors.
  • The system checks whether the calculation of the consistency-relevant formula views Composition, Ingredients, and Nutrients does not produce any errors.
  • The system saves the data determined for the Input and Output formula view and the consistency-relevant formula views. This means the values determined at the time of the consistency check are available in the database for searches.

Dependencies

If a formula was set as consistent, you can only make limited changes to it. You cannot use the BAdI to influence which data can no longer be changed.
