Use

These sub-items may be used to represent distribution information.

Example

100 cartons of a material are to be distributed among a number of recipients as follows:

  • 60 cartons for recipient 1
  • 30 cartons for recipient 2
  • 10 cartons for recipient 3

In this example, the documents contain the following items:

  • an item with a total quantity of 100 cartons
  • an item with 60 cartons for recipient 1, referencing the item with the total quantity
  • an item with 30 cartons for recipient 2, referencing the item with the total quantity
  • an item with 10 cartons for recipient 3, referencing the item with the total quantity
