Documentation
Definition
Schedule line interval in days.
Use
If you require, you can also enter the schedule line interval in hours.
The schedule line interval specifies the time between the schedule lines to be generated for a collective purchase order item. After the relevant issue document items have been determined, the system calculates the schedule line dates for each item as follows:
- It divides the procurement period into intervals based on the schedule line interval defined. It starts at the beginning of the procurement period and adds on schedule line intervals until it reaches the end of the procurement period.
- For each interval, the system checks if the delivery creation date for an issue document schedule line is within this interval.
- If this is the case, the schedule line date for a collective PO item is the earliest date in the interval minus the goods receipt processing time. The sum of the quantities of the relevant issue document schedule lines produce the scheduled quantity in the collective PO item.
