Definition
Entity (individual or department) responsible for releasing (approving) a purchase requisition within the framework of a release strategy.
Use
This indicator specifies:
- The release sequence (that is, which release point(s) must have already released a requisition before the current individual or department is allowed to release that requisititon)
- Which release code is assigned to the release point
- How the release indicator is set for a requisition item after the latter has been released by a release point

Procedure
- Enter x to specify to which release point the release code applies.
- If you enter +, this release point must release the purchase requisition before the release point marked with "x" can do so.
Example
In release strategy "S1", release points 1 and 2 (for example department manager and section head) may effect releases. Release point 1 must release a purchase requisition before release point 2. Table T161F is set up as follows:
