Documentation
Definition
Application in which the planning activities, such as checking of assignments and actual plan data entry is carried out.
Use
The planning service selected is made available to the Express Planning framework using the roadmap navigation. According to the type of planning service, this may involve a loose linked or close linked (coupled) service.
- Loose Linked Service
In the case of this service type, there is no further communication between the iView and the service apart from the actual call up from the iView (the call up can be made by entering a URL). This means that the iView is unable to process service return values because this service is unknown to the iView. - Close Linked Service
The services of this type are known to the iView, and there is usually comprehensive communication between the iView and the service in which service return values can also be processed.
