Definition
Enables a context-sensitive detail display in the payroll account.
Use
The payroll account creates a list with rows and columns in which each column is a payroll period and each row contains a wage type.
If you do not select Context-Sensitive Display and double-click on a column, then the following payroll records appear in the detail display:
- If Only Display Last Result? is not selected, then the:
- For-period is the period from the column header
- In-period is the period from the column header
- If Only Display Last Result? is selected, then the:
- For-period is the period from the column header
- In-period is the last period for which payroll was run
In the payroll account, there can be wage types that come from a retroactive period. These wage types are indicated with the in-period date instead of the wage type short text.
If you select the Context-Sensitive Display, then the rows for the wage types from retroactive accounting act differently from the description above. If you double-click on such a row, you receive the detail display for payroll records. The following applies:
- The for-period is the period from the column header
- The in-period is the period that is in the row next to the wage type that has been recalculated (for example, /101 02/2002).
In this case, the field Only Display Last Results) does not have any effect.
