Definition

Freely assignable ID for the column layout of a standard report.

The standard SAP system provides the following keys:

  • 1st digit (denotes related time periods)
    • 1 = years (cumulative value)
    • 2 = quarters (cumulative value)
    • 3 = months (cumulative value)
    • 4 = years (periodic value)
    • 5 = quarters (periodic value)
    • 6 = months (periodic value)
    • 7 = scaled values (in thousands)
  • 2nd digit (denotes what is listed in the columns)
    • 0 = periods within the current year
    • 1 = changes in valuation
    • 2 = comparisons exceeding year boundaries
    • 3 = version comparisons
    • 4 = horizontal changes using transaction types
    • 5 = sort key S1
    • 6 = sort key S2
    • 7 = sort key S3
    • 8 = object comparisons (companies, groups)
    • 9 = FS items
  • 3rd digit (denotes what is listed in the lines)
    • 1 = FS items
    • 2 = years
    • 3 = versions
    • 4 = transactino types
    • 5 = sort key 1
    • 6 = sort key 2
    • 7 = sort key 3
  • 4th digit
    • is numbered sequentially
