Definition

The subsequent rule indicator controls processing of other rule lines. The meaning of the individual subsequent rule indicator depends on the previous condition.

The following values are allowed:

• " " (space), "*" or "S"

Meaning of the values:

• " " (space)

  The condition was

• successful:
The system does not search for a subsequent line of the same rule.
• unsuccessful:
The system searches for a subsequent line of the same rule.
• "*"

  The system searches for a subsequent line of the same rule irrespective of the result of the condition.

• "S"

  The condition was

• successful:
The system searches for a subsequent line of the same rule which has a different entry to the current rule line in the table and field fields of the key word.
• unsuccesful:
The system searches for a subsequent line of the same rule that has the same entry in the table and field fields of the key word as in the current rule line.

Note

• If the system does not find a subsequent line of the same rule, processing is cancelled.
