Definition

The layout variant is used to define settings used within the Budgeting Workbench.

Use

Make the following settings for your layout variant:

• The default distribution key to be be used for a new document. This default can be overwritten within the transaction.
• The position of the following data on the screen, in order to have a customized interface:
• Fund
• Functional area
• Funds center
• Commitment item
• Budget type
• Year of cash effectivity

The data can be displayed:

• In the header: the value is valid for all lines. In case of a transfer, you must specify one value for senders and one for receivers
• As a column: the value should be defined for each document line. For column data, you can specify in which order the columns should appears in the table area.

Note

If an account assignment element such as the fund or functional area is not active, specify that it is "Not used" in the IMG activity Activate Account Assignment Elements for BCS.
