Documentation
Use
After adding this kind of predefined step ("function call") to your strategy, you can determine the superior commitment item of the field USERCMMTITEM - that is, the commitment item that is directly superior in the commitment item hierarchy.
Further notes
If you leave the field USERCIVARNT blank, then the system takes account of the standard variant of the commitment item hierarchy. However, you may choose another variant by assigning a distinct value to USERCIVARNT.
Please note that the predefined step of type function call uses the field USERCMMTITEM as input and output field. This allows you to derive commitment items, which are several hierarchy levels above the commitment item of the budget address. In this case you have to add this predefined step several times to your strategy.
Example
You want to assign the superior commitment item of the input field CMMTITEM to the output field RCMMTITEM of the control object using the variant "001". In this case, first add this predefined step to your strategy by checking the corresponding box, then edit your strategy.
At the end, your derivation strategy should contain the following derivation steps:
- MOVE: source = field CMMTITEM, target = field USERCMMTITEM
- MOVE: source = constant '001', target = field USERCIVARNT
- FUNCTION CALL: Determine superior commitment item
- MOVE: source = field USERCMMTITEM, target = field RCMMTITEM
