Use
In funds management commitment items show the functional structure of an organization.
Commitment items can be budgeted and posted.
When posting within feeder components of funds management (e.g.financial accounting and materials management) a commitment item must always be specified if an update within funds management is to take place.
Via a link of the commitment item with the basic data of other components (e.g. G/L account or cost element), the system automatically derives the commitment item during the posting procedure from this assignment.
A manual entry is not required
