Definition
Start date of the billing period of performance.
Use
Period of Performance: Performance date range as contractually agreed with Business Partner. This date range represents the validity date of the agreement with the business partner and can be checked against in various stages of the business process.
Billing Period of Performance: Date range of actual performance of product or service. The date is captured on invoice/billing document. This date can be compared to contractually agreed 'Period of Performance' on predecessor documents when the billing document/invoice is created or changed.
