Definition
Stipulate that an FM account assignment differing from the header data can be entered for each component and activity.
Use
You should only activate the account assignment option at component and activity level, if you do not require the contents of Controlling and Funds Management to correspond in your organization. After activation, the datasets in Controlling and Funds Management will no longer be updated consistently.
The precise assignment between the cost elements/cost center in Controlling and the commitment item/funds center in Funds Management will be lost. Therefore, if you activate this procedure, evaluations in Controlling and in Funds Management will lead to differing results.
Dependencies
Moreover, the integration of the order settlement from Controlling should not be activated in the Customizing for the actual and commitment update in the Funds Management Government component. (Step Choose business transactions for integration).
