Use
You define the commitment item coding in the mask.
Procedure
- Set the characters "X" for defining the mask for any alphanumeric character of the commitment item.
- Set up to 3 special characters in the mask, which you have previously defined as special characters in Customizing.
Examples
Dependencies
When creating commitment items, make sure you cannot use any of the special characters you defined in Customizing. The special characters are not accepted for the alphanumeric code of a commitment item.
Note:
The mask coding is overridden as soon as the code of a commitment item has more characters than are used in the mask definition. The code of the commitment item is then displayed without a mask.
