If you set this indicator then the budget of this budget type is attributed to the budget eligible for cover. This budget can therefore be used as part of cover eligibility.

Note that you have to decide whether to use functions from cover eligibility or from assignment type profiles.
If you have made settings in the assignment type profile in order to vary the way availability control works with commitment postings per commitments value type, you may not activate cover eligibility. For additional information on assignment type profile, see: "Maintain assignment type profile.

Use
If you set this indicator, the budget of this release group will be credited to the budget eligible to cover. This budget can then be used within the framework of unilateral and reciprocal cover eligibility.

Be aware that you must decide whether you want to use the cover eligibility function or commitment type profile.
You may not activate the cover eligibility if you have made settings in the commitment type profile in order to have variable control over the behavior of the availability control during commitment posting. See "Maintain commitment type profile for more information.
