Use

If you set this indicator, you can have a separate display in the information system (line item reports) for follow-on documents items whose precursor items were posted in the previous year or carried forward into the new fiscal year as part of the commitment carryforward.

The line items are either flagged through inheritance between document chains or through the commitment carryforward.

Procedure

Examples

A purchase requisition from 2003 is carried forward to 2004. The commitment carryforward flags the purchase requisition in 2004. A purchase order entered in 2004 and referencing this purchase requisition "inherits" this flag.
