Definition

The grouping together of different FM areas and company codes for which a common day-end closing should take place.

Use

A day-end closing is always carried out for a day-end closing group. You assign a posting day to each day-end closing group used. This ensures that the same posting day is saved in the system for all FM areas/company codes for which you want to carry out a joint day-end closing.

Assigned FM areas: bl0, bl02, bl03

Assigned company codes: bl0, bl02, bl03

The day-end closing for closing group 'Berlin 1' carries out a closing for FM areas 'bl0', 'bl02', 'bl03' and their company codes. Other FM areas/company codes are not included in this day-end closing.
