Definition
This field keeps track of the physical or logical log buffer flushes. If these buffers are consistently flushed for reason other than the issuance of a checkpoint, performance may be suffering. This may happen if the buffer is filling to capacity before the next checkpoint interval has arrived. Therefore a checkpoint is initiated in order to release the buffer.
