Documentation
Definition
The flight cabin rule specifies which cabin class a user is allowed to select for a certain flight route. These rules serve as selection criteria in the standard query for available flights.
<<<<<<value 'No rules'
There are no restrictions for the selection of the flight cabin class. Values 'Economy', 'Business' and 'First': With this rule, the flight cabin classes are arranged in a hierarchy so that the higher classes include the subordinate classes. It is, for example, of course possible for an employee with the flight cabin rule First class to also choose Business or Economy class.
Values 'Economy ->Business', 'Business -> First' and 'Economy -> Business -> First': If this rule is used employees see a list of available flights of the corresponding lower cabin class. When no flight os available in the lower cabin class the the connections for the higher class are also shown. This means that if rule 'Economy-> Business' is implemented, an employee may only select business class if no economy class connections are available.
In the case of the rules Business -> First only, Business only, First only, the employee is offered connections with the specified cabin classes exclusively by the system. If no connection is found to correspond with the specified class, automatic querying of the next higher flight cabin class does not take place.
