Definition

Here you specify how the airfare is determined after a standard flight query.

The following values are possible:

  • Inactive:
    The system does not determine the price automatically. Price determination must be be started by the user actively, for example, via the 'Price' pushbutton or after booking by the travel agency.
  • After flight selection:
    The system determines the price for the selected flight connection automatically. The airfare is included, after flight selection, in the display of the overview of travel services in the planning manager.
  • After flight selection with Best-Price:
    When the user selects a flight via the normal availability query, the system automatically determines the airfare. Additionally, the system starts the "Best-Price flight" query, so that the user has a chance, in a dialog box, to replace the selected flight with a more economical flight.
  • Query at Booking:
    The price is not automatically determined after selecting the flight. If the user does not enter a price manually using the appropriate push button, the System generates a query as to whether the price should be automatically determined at the point of booking. The user can then generate the price, or in the case that they do not want to determine the price, allow the travel center to do so.
