Definition
Consumption-relevant fuel counter of the fleet object
Use
In order to be able to calculate fleet consumption values in Fleet Management, you must create counters for your fleet object
- For entering the fuel consumed
- For entering the performance provided (distance traveled or operating time).
In calculating fleet consumption, the consumption-relevant performance counter is known as the 'primary counter'. Which one of the counters created for the fleet object fulfils the function of the primary counter is determined by the calculation method selected using the field Measurement point.
Dependencies
The measurement position of the primary counter is assigned to the calculation method in the Customizing node 'Define calculation method for the calculation of consumption values'. You can select this position from the values defined in the node 'Define special measurement positions for fleet objects', to which counter reading 3 = consumption-relevant fuel counter was assigned.
Fleet object consumption is calculated from the measurement documents entered for the primary counter and consumption-relevant fuel counter.
