Definition
If "Mandatory" is selected, you must enter a value in that field during variant processing.
You may only use this option for fields that have benn defined as input fields; for all other fields, "Mandatory" may not be selected. When you select "Mandatory" for a field in a variant, you should not select "Output only" or "Invisible".
