Definition

Version key for correspondence-data parameter records.

Use

If additional corrrespondence data is stored in a cluster table, the version of the data record must also be stored. This means that the data can subsequently be changed automatically to altered structures.

Example

At present, a version's development close date is stored in the version key. This ensures that the version keys are stored in ascending order.

The version name is not stored as we cannot guarantee that the names of versions will always follow the same convention.

Version key for version 4.51 is: 19990706.

Version key for version 4.61 is: 20000204.
