Documentation
Definition
A display filter consists of a group of certain time information, MRP elements, and MRP segments. The filter controls the display of the lists for the planning result.
MRP elements are displayed only in the time period defined in the display horizon.
- MRP elements in this time period are displayed only for the segments selected in the display filter.
- Within these segments, the system only displays the MRP elements that have been selected in the display filter and that, if necessary, correspond to certain additional selections (for example customer, vendor, storage location).
- This reduces the data in the list to a clear selection.
In contrast to a selection rule, the calculation of the quantity available and the ranges of coverage is not affected by display filters.
You define display filters in Customizing for MRP, or in Customizing for consumption-based planning, in the IMG activity Define display filter.

Use
In the SAP standard system, the following display filters are available for the report RMDMRPLIST:
- SAP_ALL: display all
- SAP_LIF1: display only MRP elements for the respective vendor (purchase orders, purchase requisitions, schedule lines, planned ordersand the corresponding releases)(identical to SAP_ALL)
- SAP_LIF2: display only firmed MRP elements for the respective vendor
- SAP_LIF3: display only fixed MRP elements (purchase orders, schedule lines and the corresponding releases) for the respective vendor
These filters are set, so that the system also displays requirements for single-source materials. The system does not display any requirements for multi-source materials, even if the filter allows this.
