Definition

Defines the key for a matrix for charge calculation methods.

Use

The charge calculation method specifies how the system handles charges or free items if these are to be distributed to subperiods. A clearing type for the subperiods and a rounding category for the free items are assigned to each combination of process of charge calculation and subperiod type.

Dependencies

You can define charge calculation methods in Customizing in your application.

The charge calculation method is part of the settings for condition determination.

Example

You specify that the clearing type of subperiods in the "settlement" process and for subperiods with the event "contract start" is always pro rata and that the rounding category for the free items is always round up.
