Definition
Specifies whether you want to use a matrix or a standard entry screen to edit the values of two inter-dependent differentiation categories on the SAP Easy Access screen under Account Management (FS-AM) -> Current Settings -> Financial Conditions -> Condition Group -> Edit Condition Group.
Use
If you want to configure two differentiation categories (for example, contract number and term period) so that they are dependent on each other, you can enter the value Maintain X in Columns in this field for the first differentiation category and the value Maintain Y in Rows in the field for the second differentiation category (or vice-versa). If you chose these options for your differentiation categories, then the Tabular Maintenance pushbutton is available on the entry screen for condition maintenance (Edit Condition Group). If you choose this pushbutton, the system displays a matrix in which you can enter the conditions for both differentiation values. On the normal entry screen, the Value Query option is displayed for data entry.
Note
Note that you can use the above options for a maximum of two differentiation categories of a condition type. If you want to set five differentiation categories for a condition type, you can only connect two differentiation categories using the method described.
