Definition
Specifies the purpose for which a condition is being used.
Use
You specify the condition form when you create a condition.
- 1 (zero condition)
You can use this condition form only for individual conditions whose replacement category has the value replace completely If you define an individual condition as a zero condition, nothing is calculated for the time period in which the zero condition is valid. No calculation is made because the standard condition is overwritten by the individual condition with the value zero.
If you are using pricing from Account Management (FS-AM), for example, you can use this condition form in standard condition groups also. In this case, the zero conditions override the standard conditions on previous pricing levels.
- 2 (Fixed condition)
You can use this condition form for loans. 'Fixed condition' means that the relevant condition item is not recalculated during alternative calculation. You can the fixed condition, for example, to exclude the relevant condition item of a loan installment from the determination of the installment for the duration of condition's validity.
- 3 (Statistical condition)
Statistical conditions are not used for calculations. A contract that only contains statistical conditions has no conditions that can be used for interest and charge calculation.
- 4 (Offset markups for participants)
You use this condition form for master contracts only. The markups on the reference interest rates that are due for the participant contract, are clearing during interest compensation for the participant contract.

Example
- Statistical condition
You can use statistical conditions during migration of legacy data to migrate expired condition periods for the individual contracts. The system thus uniquely flags these expired condition periods meaning that they are never valid in the new system, but are visible for statistical purposes.
- Zero condition
A standard condition of 10% for debit interest is assigned to an account. The account is to be free of interest for the months April to June 2001:
You create an individual zero condition for the debit interest of the account, with the Valid From date 2001-04-01 and the valid-to date 2001-06-30. Because the individual condition overrides the existing standard condition, no debit interest is calculated for the second quarter of 2001.
