Definition

Indicates the deletion of the valid-to date if there is an overlap with a previous period

Use

If the user creates a new validity period that overlaps with a previous period, the system automatically deletes the valid-to date of the previous period and sets this checkbox.

When you save data, the system checks whether only this change was made to the previous period:

• If only the valid-to date was deleted, this checkbox remains set and the system does not generate a workflow item for the previous period in the release workflow.
• If other changes were made to the previous period, the system deactivates the checkbox and creates a workflow item for the previous period in the release workflow.
