Definition

Specifies whether the validity periods of a condition are passed on within a hierarchy of conditions or not.

Use

If the indicator is not set, the conditions are passed on. This means that the validity period of a condition is also valid for low levels of hierarchies.

If the indicator is set, the conditions not are passed on. This means that the validity period of a condition is only valid for the contracts that belong to the current hierarchy level.

Dependencies

Whether a condition hierarchy is used depends on the respective application.

The inheritance is executed by means of a condition merger. In general, conditions that are defined for low hierarchy levels overwrite conditions for higher hierarchy levels.

Example

The following charge amounts are defined in a condition hierarchy and the indicator Condition is Not Passed On is set differently.
