Definition

Specifies an amount by which the calculation base for the interest condition is to be reduced.

Use

Dependencies

You can also reduce the calculation base by a percentage-based reduction, by entering a percentage in the Percentage Reduction field.

If you use both options for reduction, the system uses the percentage-based reduction first and then the amount-based reduction.

You have set the Amount-Based Reduction indicator in the condition type Customizing.

Example

The calculation base is EUR 500,000. You enter 10% for the percentage-based reduction and EUR 10,000 for the amount-based reduction.

The system reduces the calculation base by 10%. This results in a calculation base of EUR 450,000, from which EUR 10,000 is deducted.

The reduced calculation base is EUR 440,000.
