Definition

Specifies the time at which the system determines a standard condition during a contract term.

Use

Where contracts are to have a fixed interest rate, you can define the time at which a condition is to be determined in the contract term.

Value range

00    Use conditions at time of calculation

Use the conditions that are currently valid. Take each change to the condition into account.

01    Use conditions at start of term

Conditions that are valid for the start of term are used for the analyzed period, even if the validity of the conditions is lesser than the start of the period that is being analyzed. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account.

02    Use the conditions at contract start.

Conditions that are valid at contract start are used for the analyzed period, even if the validity of the conditions is lesser than the start of the analyzed. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account.

03    Use the conditions at start of savings plan

Conditions that are valid at the start of the savings plan are used for the analyzed period, even if the validity of the conditions is lesser than the start of the analyzed period. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account.

05    Start of the Settlement Period

Conditions that are valid at start of the settlement period are used for the analyzed period, even if the validity of the conditions is lesser than the end of the analyzed period. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account.

06    End of the Settlement Period

Conditions that are valid at end of the settlement period are used for the analyzed period, even if the validity of the conditions is greater than the start of the analyzed period. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account.

07    Start of the Condition Group Change

If one or more multiple condition group changes occur in the analyzed period, the conditions that are valid at the start of a subperiod are be used for that subperiod, even if the validity of those conditions is lesser than the end of the analyzed period. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account. If a condition group change does not occur, the behavior is the same as "Start of the Settlement Period".

08    End of the Condition Group Change

If one or more multiple condition group changes occur in the analyzed period, the conditions that are valid at the end of a subperiod are used for that subperiod, even if the validity of those conditions is greater than the start of the analyzed period. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account. If a condition group change does not occur, the behavior is the same as "End of the Settlement Period".

09    Use Conditions for Condition Fixing.

Conditions that are valid at the start of the condition fixing period are used for the analyzed period, even if the validity of the conditions is lesser than the start of the period that is being analyzed. Changes made to the conditions at a later date are not taken into account. If no valid condition fixing exists for the analyzed period, the conditions at time of calculation are used.

Dependencies

The condition determination time for individual conditions is defined for each condition type in Condition Type Customizing in your application.

Example

You can create time deposits without an actual deposit being made. The term of the time deposit does not start until the deposit is received (at the earliest). If there is a long time between creations and the deposit, then the interest rates may change, even if they are fixed for the term. If this is the case, you can choose the interest rate that is valid when the deposit is received.
