Documentation
Definition
With this option, you control whether data without a deletion indicator in the respective master data record is to be processed or not.
Use
In the standard, the option is set such that the deletion indicator is always consider. This means that only data where a suitable deletion indicator is set can be archived. Note that in this case, the deletion indicator is not a necessary but a sufficient condition for archiving.
If you deactivate this option, you can also select master data where the deletion indicator is not set for archiving. Whether or not the data concerned can be archived is determined by further checks. If these checks permit archiving, the write program sets any missing deletion indicator automatically and the data is written to the archive files. Note that with this option, any new data created could be archived immediately. If you enter a suitable value in the parameter Minimum Number of Days in System, you can protect this data from archiving. You should always check whether your processes permit archiving of data without a deletion indicator set.
