Definition
You can use this field to stipulate a maximum permitted variance for payment advice - posting assignments.
For a posting to be assigned to a payment advice, they must agree in the following details:
- Company code
- Bank account
- Currency
- Business area
- Value date
- Assignment number, if required
The amounts need not agree. You can stipulate a maximum variance expressed in percentage terms or as an amount. If you enter both, the system uses the more restrictive of the two. If you enter no permitted variance all, the amount must agree.
