Definition
The customizing settings for payment date assignment (made in view V_T035Z) are used, along with the start date and interval specifications, to determine the payment dates for the next 12 months.
You can use dynamic selections to enter different payment dates for customers and vendors. The following rules apply in both cases:
- If you specify a date, the system takes this as the starting date. The intervals used are those stipulated in customizing. The system determines the payment dates for the next 12 months.
- If you specify at least two dates, only those dates apply. The system ignores the start date and intervals defined in customizing.
- The system only considers today or later dates as payment dates.
- If you determine payment dates monthly, the system takes account of whether the start date is the last day of a month. If it is, all the payment dates derived from it are set at the month end. Public holidays and weekends are treated as normal working days.
- Even if you specify different payment dates, you still need the customizing settings because the determine which planned groups and levels are included.
