Use

The value range of a domain can be restricted by specifying
values. All table fields referring to this domain may then
accept only values from the specified set of fixed values.
An entry here shows whether fixed values have been defined.

Procedure

If you specify values for the domain, you can branch to the relevant maintenance screen with Goto -> Values.

Examples

The value range for names of months can be defined by listing all possible values (January, ..., December).

Dependencies

If both values and a value table are specified for a domain, a check agains both conditions is made. That is, the table fields referring to this domain may only accept values occurring in the value table and in the set of fixed values.
