Definition

Define whether and how you want to post.

Use

You can choose the following settings:

  • Only Import Bank Statement

Select this setting if you only want to import bank statements but not post them. The posting program is then called in test mode.
If the Intraday indicator is set, you can only choose this setting. The posting program is not then called even in test mode.

  • Import and Post

Select this setting if you want to import bank statements and post them immediately.

  • Import and Post Bank Accounting

Select this setting if you want to generate posting only for G/L accounts. The system temporarily blocks all postings to the subledger accounts. This procedure is useful if you want the program to make the postings immediately, but the run time is too long to allow you to run your cash management position as soon as is required. You can make the postings to the subledgers at a later stage. To do this execute transaction FEBP (program RFEBKA30).

  • Import and Create Batch Input

Choose this setting if you want to create batch input sessions. In this instance, you also need to choose a rule for forming the session names. If you are using the Postprocessing transaction (FEB_BSPROC), this setting is not recommended.
