Use
In this field, you can enter one or more search strings to search for open items.
The system sorts the found items in the hit list according to the following criteria:
- The company code matches the company code for the house bank of the bank statement item.
- The partner matches the partner of the bank statement item.
- A search string was found in the BELNR or XBLNR field.
If the hit value and search string match exactly, the list contains the hit field and hit value for each item found. The items found have the status Not Assigned. The number of items displayed is limited to the maximum number that you have specified in your personal settings.
Dependencies
Note that you can use the Read More Items pushbutton to search for more open items. The current free-text search, however, offers the advantage that you do not need to specify in which field the system is to search.
Example
Note
The search is not case-sensitive.
The system also finds items that contain values similar to those in the search string (for example, search string = electronic bank statement, document header text = electr. bank statement). You can specify the precision of the search using the FEB_FUZZY user parameter:
- If you define a value of 1.0 for the FEB_FUZZY parameter, the system only returns items with exactly the same hit values.
- The smaller the value for the parameter, the more the hit values can deviate from the search string. As a result, the number of hits will tend to increase.
The default fuzzy value used by the system is 0.8.
