Definition

With the BAI preprocessor, the raw data from the BAI (2) file is changed before it is processed further.

The preprocessor provides various functions:

  • Checking the file date
  • Conversion of bank information in line with the settings made in table T028Q
  • Checking of file totals and subtotals before they are split into individual bank statements
  • Adjustment of the plus/minus sign if the bank does not keep to the BAI convention

Use

If you want to use the preprocessor, you have to make the following settings:

  • Case 1 - Cash Management, statement file of today:
  • Case 2 - Cash Management, statement file from earlier:
    • Indicator Only for Previous Day - Only Headers must have been set
    • Indicator Intraday must have been set
    • It must not be posted (Customizing activity Define Posting Parameters)
  • Case 3 - Immediate Posting:
