Documentation
Definition
You have two options to read the regulatory or natural account balances:
- Field is not marked
Balances are created by reading the drill down tables.
- Field is marked
Balances are created by reading the General Ledger database.
Use
Generally you should get the same results for both methods but the standard option for reading the data from the drill down table has a much better performance.
- For regulatory accounts you can compare both methods to identify manual adjustments which have not been posted by the regulatory module.
- For natural accounts you will only get differences if you use clearing objects. The virtual clearing cost elements will be only listed when you read the drill down tables.
