Documentation
Definition
Using this indicator, you define whether changes made by the Document Changes from Dispute Cases function can be manually overwritten or not.
Use
You can choose between the following settings:
- Modifiable
- Modifiable with warning
- Not modifiable
If you select Modifiable or Modifiable with Warning, you also have to set the System Value Can Overwrite Manual Changes indicator.
Further notes
If a dispute case is closed or voided, the attributes are automatically reset to their original value. If a document change performed using the function Document Changes from Dispute Cases is later changed manually, the system cannot determine the original field value when it closes or voids the dispute case. The field can only be reset to the value that was manually set. If this happens, you must correct the field manually if necessary using the document change transaction.
Dependencies
Example
If you have selected the Not Modifiable value, after you have made a change to a field in an FI document using the Document Changes from Dispute Cases function, you can no longer manually change this field using the document change transaction.
