Definition

You can either enter the name of the contact person at the business partner manually (Change Contact Person), or have it transferred from the master data of the contact person for the customer (Get Contact Person).

If you have selected the option Change Business Partner when entering business partner data, no master data is updated. Instead, the data for the contact person is stored in the objects invoiced (for example, dispute case, promise to pay).

Use

Dependencies

If the name is transferred from the master data, it is transferred in the format entered in the address data. If the formatted name is too long, only the last name and first name are used for the preparation.
