The action processed when you save is displayed.

Create
If you select this line, the dispute case is created for the item selected.

Split
The selected item is a residual item and the related cleared item is already included in a dispute case. If you do not select the line, the new item is added to the dispute case of the cleared item. However, if you do select the line, a new dispute case is created for the new item and the old dispute case is reduced by the amount of the new item. The old dispute case is therefore "split".
