Definition

Specifies the time of clearing of a repayment receivable with the interest calculation capital for annuity repayment, installment repayment and repayment of capitalized interest.

Use

The following values are possible:

  • Clearing on the due date

    The system clears the installment in accordance with the due date frequency that you have defined in the Due Date group box and on the Time Period tab page.

  • Immediate clearing

    The system clears the installment on the payment day of the repayment receivable. The payment day is usually the same as the due date that you have defined in the Due Date group box on the Time Period tab page. The payment date can differ from the due date if you have made settings for a working day shift of the payment date.

  • Clearing on the calculation day

    The system clears the installment in accordance with the calculation date frequency that you have defined in the Calculation group box on the Time Period tab page.

  • Clearing at the end of a period

    The system clears the installment according to the period frequency. The period frequency corresponds to the calculation day. If the end of the interest fixing period lies in the middle of a period, the system does not adjust the clearing date to the end of the interest fixing period.

  • Regular Clearing

    You can specify the frequency of the clearing date in the Clearinggroup box on the Clearing tab page.

  • No clearing

    The system does not clear the installment.

Dependencies

You can specify the type of clearing only if you have assigned date category 220020 (clearing) to the condition type in Customizing.
