Definition

Number of time units by which the period of use is postponed (from the reference date onwards).

If you have selected days as the time unit for a shift of the start date, it is assumed that the month has 30 days. If you enter 31 days, the system shifts the date by one month and one day.

Example for time unit Days:

starting date    Number of Days    Resulting start date

May 30, 2010    30    June 30, 2010

May 31, 2010    30    June 30, 2010

May 1, 2010    30    June 1, 2010 (instead of May 31, 2010)

May 1, 2010    31    June 2, 2010
