Definition

Specifies a currency that is different from the condition currency.

Description

The payment currency is used in charge conditions, amount limit conditions, and interest conditions.

Dependencies

The following dependencies between the condition currency and the payment currency apply to the amount fields:

  • The payment currency only applies to the fields Amount Limit and Amount Limit for Complex Condition Determination, if a condition currency does not exist. If both currencies exist, the setting in the Amount Limit for Payment Currency field in Condition Type Customizing determines the currency that is used.
  • The system always calculates interest conditions in the contract currency. Any payment currency entered here applies only to the levels created for interest conditions.
  • The condition currency applies to the other amount fields only if a there is no payment currency.
  • Bank Analyzer application only: The payment currency only applies to the Calculation Basis for Interest Calculation field if a condition currency does not exist.
