Definition
With all two-sided eliminations (interunit elimination, elimination of IC profit and loss) two apportionment procedures are supported: minimum apportionment and product apportionment.
These procedures differ if both consolidation units involved in the elimination are included proportionately in a consolidation group. Then for example when IU payables and receivables are eliminated the differences are apportioned differently:
- In minimum apportionment the difference is multiplied by the smallest proportion.
- In product apportionment the difference is multiplied by the product of the two proportions.
