Procedure
This item needs to be specified to enable subsequent consolidation to post minority interest in annual net income or minority interest in retained earnings.
- If the appropriation of retained earnings is stated in the balance sheet, this must be an income statement item. This item then receives the minority interest in annual net income.
- If the appropriation of retained earnings is stated after the income statement, this item must belong to the appropriation of retained earnings. This item then receives the minority interest in retained earnings.
